I've attended my Kampung Pesta Kaamatan recently on the 28th May 2011 held at the Balairaya Kg.Limputong. The Pesta Kaamatan was officiated by YB Datuk Ghulam Haidar Khan Bahadar (ADUN N.21 Kawang) and with this year's theme "KEFAHAMAN TERHADAP KEBUDAYAAN-LANGKAH BIJAK KE HADAPAN" indeed it is appropriate to say that with the Kaamatan Festival we can actually show the uniqueness culture of what Sabah truly is.
Among the activities held in conjunction with the Pesta Kaamatan were Pertandingan memancing, masakan tradisi, tarik tali, main bolasepak,karaoke, melastik (yg ni best haha) ratu fesyen kanak2, bina badan kanak2 lelaki and of course the highlight was the UNDUK NGADAU.
Anyway it is fortunate for us to even have the chance to experience the rich culture of the kadazan dusun tribe..it was an exerience worth sharing to everyone..

only 9 contestant for the Unduk Ngadau. The original Kadazan Papar's dress is different from other place because it comes with the headgear call sirung and the long sleeve dress.
